Trump to open up to all in the Oval Office

Trump is expected to open his first Oval Office meeting to all at 8:30 p.m.

ET on Thursday, according to a person familiar with the meeting.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting is private.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Aides have not yet set a time for the meeting, but the person said it would take place in the White House Situation Room, which is the closest to the Oval office to the Capitol.

The White House also has been discussing a potential Trump visit to Capitol Hill, but officials have declined to discuss specifics.

Trump has been making visits to the nation’s capital to promote his administration’s efforts to combat climate change.

He is set to visit on Friday and is expected back at the White Senate later this month to deliver a speech on how to combat the global crisis.
