A new film from the director of “Dangerously” will star Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman, and it’s already drawing comparisons to “The Last Jedi.”
That film is being produced by the same studio as “Dirty,” which earned a B CinemaScore from audiences and critics.
“Dance of the Valkyries,” which opens Oct. 26, centers on the titular warrior’s epic quest for the mythical “Valkyries” and its allies, a pair of Viking monks who will protect the kingdom.
The movie stars Portman as the mysterious warrior’s love interest, “Lady” who’s seen on a number of “The Jungle Book” and “The Princess Bride” posters.
Pitt is playing the role of the king, while Portman plays the lead role as a “silly” knight who’s a “pale imitation of the heroic warrior.”
“Dancing of the Knights” will be directed by Daniele Ruggiero and will be produced by The Weinstein Company.
